Security Engineer (Tanium)

Location: Orlando, FL, United States; hybrid work model with 2–3 days in the office

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, administer, maintain, and optimize the Tanium platform across complex enterprise environments.
• Implement and manage Tanium modules including Asset, Discover, Comply, Patch, Deploy, Interact, and Threat Response.
• Manage endpoint visibility, asset discovery, vulnerability assessments, remediation, automated patching, and software deployment.
• Monitor endpoint health, identify security gaps, recommend remediation strategies, and troubleshoot platform, connectivity, agent deployment, and configuration issues.
• Develop Tanium queries, dashboards, reports, operational workflows, and automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Support endpoint security investigations and incident response, and integrate Tanium with SIEM, EDR, ITSM, and vulnerability management platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, security engineering, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and administering the Tanium platform.
• Experience with Tanium modules such as Patch, Comply, Asset, Discover, Deploy, or Threat Response.
• Strong understanding of enterprise endpoint management and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of patch management, asset inventory, endpoint security, and software deployment practices.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting and automation technologies.
