Senior Editor - Commercial

What you will do

• Oversee content production and strategic direction for commercial clients from ideation through publication.
• Manage client liaison, meetings, content ideas, and content strategies aligned with client objectives and target audiences.
• Commission and create short-form copy, thought-leadership features, podcasts, webinars, email content, sector reports, and whitepapers.
• Interview clients, customers, analysts, and industry experts; edit copy and manage amendments.
• Identify new client opportunities and collaborate with design, editorial, data, intelligence, SEO, and other departments.
• Own regional commercial content delivery and perform line management duties.

Requirements

• Strong journalism background and previous experience in a similar role, ideally in construction or development project industries.
• Ability to understand complex language, topics, and data and turn them into data-driven and compelling content.
• Experience working with clients on content strategy.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to identify strong writing and compelling stories.
• Strong collaboration record and experience working successfully as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Native English speaker.
• Good commercial awareness of the markets in which hirify.global operates.
