What you will do

• Design, configure, implement, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, voice/data, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, load balancers, and related network devices.
• Monitor network health, analyze traffic and performance, and resolve connectivity, latency, security, downtime, and service disruption issues.
• Implement network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls, while following change management and operational procedures.
• Support capacity planning, network expansion, disaster recovery, backup and restore activities, patching, and evaluation of new technologies.
• Maintain network documentation and asset inventories, support junior staff and cross-functional teams, and communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices; Cisco experience is required.
• CCNA (Routing & Switching) certification is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• CCNA Wireless, CCNA Voice, Network+, Security, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, ACS, WLC, WCS, MARS, or Stealthwatch.
• Exposure to WiFi 6 and/or 5G network technologies.
• Familiarity with network security concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with Juniper or other network vendors.
