Software Developer (AI)

Location: Woburn, MA; Arlington is also listed as an available location. The role is full-time and requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. government.

Full-time salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software components, services, APIs, data-processing capabilities, tools, and user interfaces.
• Implement well-scoped features, modules, integrations, and defect fixes from requirements and technical designs.
• Participate in unit, integration, system, and regression testing; troubleshoot issues and support demonhirify.globalations and releases.
• Apply version control, code review, automated testing, issue tracking, documentation, and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Improve the reliability, performance, maintainability, usability, and testability of existing systems while taking increasing ownership of assigned work.

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• <hirify.globalong>Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. government.hirify.globalong>
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, Java, Go, or a similar language.
• Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software through coursework, internships, research, professional work, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design, data hirify.globaluctures, algorithms, software design patterns, and version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, documentation, code review, and secure software-development practices.
• Ability to work effectively on a technical team and communicate progress, technical findings, and blockers clearly.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, Kubernetes, or Linux deployment environments.
• Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, web applications, dashboards, or visualization tools.
• Experience supporting Department of War, intelligence community, or other U.S. Government customers through internships, research, employment, or related programs.
