Engineering Manager (Go / Java / C#)

Location: Minsk, Belarus; onsite, remote, and hybrid work formats are available.

What you will do

• Lead the cross-functional engineering team building and evolving the Boss Revolution mobile application, including international calling, mobile top-up, and money transfer services.
• Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop engineers through hiring, one-on-ones, performance management, and support for learning and collaboration.
• Optimize team structure, resource allocation, delivery timelines, engineering processes, agile practices, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain code quality and architectural standards, guide technical decisions, drive innovation, and lead technical discussions.
• Translate initiatives into team tasks, track progress, communicate with stakeholders, and align engineering work with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, work with Compliance on regulatory requirements and audits, and conduct incident reviews to address root causes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional agile development teams, ideally in a product-driven environment.
• Hands-on software engineering experience and hands-on experience in mobile application development or managing mobile development teams.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, automated testing, release management, and performance monitoring.
• Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, planning, and performance under pressure or uncertainty.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience hiring and nurturing high-performing engineering teams.
• Good command of English at B2 level or higher.
