Junior Buyer - Procurement Excellence

Location: Hybrid, Ebene, Mauritius.

What you will do

• Analyse spend across entities, countries, suppliers, and categories, improving data quality, supplier classification, and spend visibility.
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards, identify savings, consolidation, standardisation, and demand-management opportunities, and translate findings into action lists.
• Support supplier segmentation, supplier reviews, performance tracking, renewals, commercial actions, and contract information management.
• Manage smaller purchases, RFQs, and renewals independently up to €100,000; compare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and support supplier selection and onboarding.
• Support procurement reporting, savings tracking, pipeline management, governance, process improvements, and reusable analytical tools.
• Collaborate with Category Managers, Finance, Legal, suppliers, and business stakeholders, presenting findings clearly and providing analytical and commercial support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, finance, or analytical experience, or a strong graduate profile.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with spend, supplier, and pricing data.
• Good knowledge of Excel and required working knowledge of SAP.
• Curiosity, ability to identify patterns and commercial opportunities, and willingness to negotiate smaller purchases.
• Structured, accurate, and able to manage multiple analyses and sourcing activities simultaneously.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Additional European languages.
