Consultant, Cloud Incident Response (Remote)

What you will do

• Lead and participate in consulting engagements covering cloud incident response, cloud security assessments, and related services.
• Investigate and remediate cloud security incidents and other security issues.
• Assess cloud and hybrid security architectures, identify risks, and provide technical remediation guidance.
• Define requirements for critical cloud projects and initiatives and contribute to internal tools and service offerings.
• Research cloud security tools, techniques, best practices, and offensive and defensive capabilities.
• Develop and mentor junior consultants while helping grow the Cloud Security practice.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent and 5+ years of related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Security Architect and/or Security Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms, including cloud solution architecture.
• Experience administering AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and conducting cloud incident response investigations.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or compiled language: Python, Ruby, C#, PowerShell, or Golang.
• Experience with systems automation platforms and technologies is preferred.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Open to remote or office locations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of cloud-native or cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and OpenID.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
• Experience with cloud security and governance tools, including Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
• Experience with enterprise application architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting.
• Clear, consistent communication with project stakeholders, including senior-management presentations, agendas, and status updates.
• Strong working relationships with team members and client teams.
