Company
is building a financial membership product with rewards, member benefits and local partnerships, expanding from the UK into the Netherlands.
What you will do
- Plan and run prospective-member sessions, member events and partner gatherings from invitations through delivery and follow-up.
- Identify, assess and prioritise Amsterdam restaurants, bars, hospitality groups and local brands, then build relationships with their representatives.
- Agree straightforward collaborations including member benefits, activations and referral flows, escalating complex or non-standard partnerships to the Netherlands Market Lead.
- Own the community calendar and partner pipeline, coordinating outreach, setup, logistics, delivery and follow-up.
- Measure member value, acquisition, usage and learning from activities, using evidence to improve execution and recommend what to repeat, change or stop.
- Work with the Netherlands Market Lead and UK Partnerships team, contributing Amsterdam feedback to the wider business.
Requirements
- Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an externally facing role connected to Amsterdam’s hospitality scene, such as brand representation, on-trade sales, hospitality operations, activations, community or partnerships.
- Direct experience working with local venues, operators or communities rather than only supporting campaigns behind the scenes.
- Experience owning recurring activity end-to-end, including taking events, activations or collaborations from initial conversation through delivery and follow-up.
- Ability to build relationships and turn them into partnerships, activations, referral flows or member benefits.
- Strong knowledge of Amsterdam’s hospitality and community ecosystem, including the ability to identify relevant venues, operators and communities and explain their relevance.
- Resourceful, organised and reliable approach, with the ability to maintain momentum, close the loop and recognise when support is needed.
- Comfort building professional relationships in Dutch and working fluently in English with the wider team.
- Enough relevant local relationships to get initial conversations moving quickly, without requiring a large ready-made contact list.
- Availability to own the first local event or activation end-to-end during the first month.
Culture & Benefits
- Values-led working environment with regular one-to-ones, clear feedback and structured progression.
- 27 days of holiday plus public holidays.
- €750 Learning & Development allowance.
- Regular team-building trips and activities.
- Full-time 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Regular in-person collaboration in Amsterdam with flexibility around partner meetings and events.
Hiring process
- Four stages: a 45-minute introductory call, a 60-minute job-fit interview, a 60-minute practical Amsterdam community and partnerships case, and a 60-minute values interview.
- Part of the introductory call will be conducted in Dutch; the case interview assesses thinking and responses rather than presentation polish.
- The process usually takes 2–6 weeks, with specific feedback available from Stage 2 onwards. Right-to-work, reference and relevant background checks are completed before joining.
