Senior Citrix Infrastructure Specialist (Citrix)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Level 3 escalation authority for Citrix and virtual desktop environments, resolving complex infrastructure issues through permanent root-cause resolution.
• Maintain, secure, and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud/DaaS, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, PVS, MCS, WEM, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft PKI and certificates, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage enterprise profiles and identity services using FSLogix, Microsoft Entra ID, Kerberos, LDAP, and SSO.
• Automate operational tasks, deployment workflows, configuration management, and system health checks with PowerShell.
• Coordinate with L2 engineers, Enterprise Architects, and Project Managers on complex changes, maintenance, upgrades, performance tuning, patching, disaster recovery testing, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience administering, troubleshooting, and engineering Citrix enterprise technologies, including CVAD, Citrix Cloud/DaaS, StoreFront, PVS, MCS, WEM, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
• In-depth expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, Active Directory architecture, Group Policy Management, DNS, and DHCP.
• Solid experience with user profiles and modern access methods using FSLogix, Microsoft Entra ID, Kerberos, LDAP, and SSO.
• Strong virtualization skills for virtual desktop and server workloads on VMware vSphere.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for operational automation, configuration management, and administrative workflows.
• Proven Level 3 incident analysis, root-cause diagnosis, performance tuning, and disaster recovery/high-availability planning experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, including coordination with L2 support teams and ITIL-aligned processes.

Nice to have

• Citrix Certified Professional/Expert certifications such as CCP-V or CCE-V, or Microsoft Certified credentials.
• Practical experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with SCCM/MECM or Microsoft Intune.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL-driven change, incident, and problem management.
