Computer Engineering / Computer Science Intern - Infrastructure and DevOps Engineering

Location: Korat, Thailand; onsite work at the Korat manufacturing facility. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Support the Kubernetes cluster operator function and identify ways to improve platform supportability.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runner, Argo CD, and related tools.
• Analyze and improve monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Develop and maintain Python- and Bash-based scripts and internal tools to automate manual processes and improve developer workflows.
• Promote reliability, security, and performance; document completed work according to established standards and select effective methods for solving problems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency with container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems and practices.
• Experience with UNIX and Linux system administration, including SSH, process monitoring, storage attachment, disk cleanup, and log inspection.
• Understanding of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell.
• Desire to build tools and applications that automate work rather than perform it manually.
• Familiarity with monitoring and system-alerting tools; ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Professional, positive communication skills; comfort with ambiguity; resourcefulness; strong analytical skills; attention to detail; organization; independence; and ability to collaborate with stakeholders globally.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and VMware infrastructure.
