Application Engineer (Robotics-AI)

Location: On-site in Hanoi, Vietnam, with 1 day of work from home.

Company

Develops robotic software and systems that automate high-accuracy and high-agility tasks such as precision handling, assembly, and inspection.

What you will do

• Develop full-fledged robotic systems using the Company Controller in collaboration with the Product Team.
• Design, program, test, and integrate solutions into partners’ products and applications.
• Define product and application requirements and specifications with partner engineers.
• Support partners, system integrators, and customers through training, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Install systems on site, including delivery, calibration, and User Acceptance Tests.
• Maintain installed systems and support system deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, including Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with some Computer Science exposure.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in the same position.
• Familiarity with professional working processes, including presentations, document writing, planning, and time management.
• Experience developing turnkey solutions related to IT, embedded systems, or AI.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Honesty, attention to detail, carefulness, high responsibility, and a teamwork-oriented personality.

Nice to have

• Experience with software development processes.
• Experience designing and implementing UI/UX.
• Awareness of AI, computer vision, deep learning frameworks and tools, robotics, kinematics, calibration, and motion planning.
• Familiarity with Linux software development and toolchains such as Git.
• Background in algorithmics, including proof of correctness and time and space complexity, as well as mathematics including linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
