What you will do

• Lead multiple research and development projects from concept to completion while managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments, develop novel methodologies, and interpret results for strategic decisions.
• Mentor, guide, and develop a team of scientists while fostering a collaborative research environment.
• Identify emerging technologies and scientific trends relevant to strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to translate research into practical applications.
• Prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations, contribute to intellectual property strategies, and maintain current scientific expertise.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 8 years of progressive research and development experience in the electronics industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership or principal scientist role.
• Expertise in one or more of advanced semiconductor materials, power electronics, sensor technologies, embedded systems, or quantum computing.
• Proven experience leading projects and managing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience with scientific software and simulation tools relevant to the field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
