Senior iOS Engineer (Crypto Perpetuals)

Location: Toronto, ON office; in-person attendance is expected at least 3 days per week. The position is restricted to US citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Base pay: $166,000–$195,000 CAD per year, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable iOS architecture for advanced crypto trading experiences used by active investors.
• Build fast, reliable mobile trading tools in collaboration with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams.
• Improve application performance, real-time data handling, observability, and release stability across core crypto trading workflows.
• Lead technical planning, system design reviews, implementation discussions, and incident resolution for high-stakes trading features.
• Mentor iOS engineers through code reviews, technical feedback, and structured development support.
• Contribute to engineering standards and documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining large-scale iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS development frameworks.
• Experience designing mobile systems with clear architecture patterns, scalable component design, and maintainable testing strategies, particularly for data-intensive or real-time use cases.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, backend, and infrastructure partners to deliver customer-focused technical solutions.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform improvements.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate complex trading concepts into intuitive mobile experiences.
• US citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.
