Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite for the first three months, followed by a hybrid work schedule. U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Salary: $70.00–$75.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the Technology Optimization Program and a large-scale applications development project.
• Collaborate with project team members to ensure user story acceptance criteria are met.
• Create and execute test cases and scripts based on client requirements.
• Perform system testing across front-end and backend applications, including testing at all development phases.
• Develop clear user support documentation and training materials.
• Document user processes and requirements accurately and concisely while communicating with stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in system testing across both front-end and backend applications.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile setting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing Angular applications, APIs, and SQL Server.
• Experience working with clients to understand requirements and write test scripts against them.
• Strong understanding of different testing types and ability to execute testing throughout all phases of development.
• Ability to develop straightforward user support documentation and training for end users.
• Ability to document user processes and requirements accurately and concisely.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, plus strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online.
