Senior React Native Developer

Location: Plano, onsite; must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to work onsite in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and own cross-platform React Native applications and native modules for iOS and Android.
• Set architectural direction across client mobile codebases and build accessible, intuitive, high-performing interfaces.
• Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level and junior engineers on React Native, native bridging, state management, and performance optimization.
• Own mobile release management, including CI/CD pipelines, app store submissions, OTA updates, monitoring, and rollback strategy.
• Use GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code for coding, debugging, and integration while establishing responsible AI review and quality standards.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud services, and third-party SDKs, and collaborate with clients, product, design, QA, and backend teams on feasibility, estimates, roadmaps, proposals, and discovery workshops.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production React Native applications, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or mentoring role.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on Kotlin and Swift development, including native modules and platform-specific debugging.
• Proven ownership of mobile release management, CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or EAS, and rollback strategy.
• Professional experience with AI coding assistants, sound judgment when reviewing AI-generated code, and the ability to teach that judgment to others.
• Strong knowledge of mobile performance, offline support, security, and accessibility best practices.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with clients and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to work onsite in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Nice to have

• Experience with React for web, .NET/C#, Java, or Objective-C.
• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure, including serverless and mobile backend services.
• Experience building AI-powered mobile features such as LLM integrations, on-device ML, or conversational interfaces.
• Experience leading a codebase migration, platform consolidation, or team restructuring.
• Background in an agency, consultancy, or product studio delivering for multiple clients.
