What you will do

• Manage requisitions and purchasing for assigned commodities, including MRO, outside processing, materials, and work transfers.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations, prepare and issue purchase orders, and ensure technical, quality, and commercial requirements are communicated to suppliers.
• Monitor and resolve purchase order shortages, discrepancies, exception reports, and invoice issues through root cause analysis and coordination with suppliers, finance, and requestors.
• Manage MRO purchasing and maintain adequate inventory of consumables, MSC cabinets, and tool crib supplies.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions; support quoting packages and work transfers.
• Maintain purchasing records, track supplier performance, and communicate order status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Three to five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing environment is required; aerospace experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and work consistently, regularly, predictably, and on time.
