Customs Clearance Coordinator (Saudi Logistics)

What you will do

• Coordinate customs clearance activities in Saudi Arabia and ensure documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time for shipment release.
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other compliance documents, coordinating declarations with licensed customs brokers.
• Use Fasah, Bayan, and SABER to track declarations, approvals, duty and tax calculations, conformity certifications, and shipment release status.
• Verify HS codes, customs valuation, country of origin, and certification requirements in line with ZATCA, SASO, and other Saudi regulations.
• Resolve inspections, shipment holds, declaration discrepancies, and missing documents with customers, suppliers, brokers, authorities, and internal teams.
• Coordinate import permits and regulatory approvals, maintain customs records, reconcile charges and invoices, monitor regulatory changes, and support process improvements and risk management.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant customs clearance coordination experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably in freight forwarding, express courier, third-party logistics, or logistics operations.
• High school certificate or above; knowledge of Saudi import and export customs clearance procedures, ZATCA and SASO requirements, HS classification, customs valuation, and country-of-origin rules.
• Hands-on experience with or practical coordination exposure to Fasah and Bayan customs platforms.
• Fluent Arabic with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills, plus good working proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, data reconciliation, and document management skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to follow up effectively on clearance exceptions.
• Strong compliance and risk awareness, with the ability to follow company policies, customs regulations, and business ethics standards.
• Must meet applicable Saudi localisation requirements, including Nitaqat / Saudisation.

Nice to have

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SABER product and shipment conformity certification processes.
• Experience in freight forwarding, express courier, third-party logistics, or logistics operations.
• Saudi nationality.
