Senior Flutter Engineer (Ecommerce)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Build and ship high-impact purchase and post-purchase features and improvements for the AY App using Dart and Flutter.
• Develop new components and frontend functionality for a widely used Flutter application.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, product managers, QA specialists, and designers.
• Identify and resolve technical debt and build internal tools that improve team productivity.
• Contribute to team processes through regular agile retrospectives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 1 year of Flutter development experience.
• Extensive experience shipping production applications with Dart and Flutter.
• Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic.
• Deep understanding of the Flutter framework and commonly used packages.
• Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively maintain codebase quality.

Nice to have

• Design awareness and the ability to collaborate closely with designers.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment.
• Expertise in UI and animation development.
