Cloud Infrastructure Administrator (IoT)

Location: Luxembourg

Salary: EUR 4,300–5,400 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

hirify.global is an IT services company delivering technology projects for international customers, including a project modernizing multi-cloud infrastructure for a satellite-based 5G IoT connectivity provider.

What you will do

• Administer Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile endpoints across the organization.
• Manage Azure and Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, conditional access, backups, monitoring, SharePoint Online, licensing, Intune, and MDM.
• Provision, monitor, secure, and maintain AWS infrastructure, Linux workloads, virtualization platforms, containers, and GCP user access.
• Maintain network and remote access infrastructure, including OpenVPN, bastion hosts, jump servers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and routing.
• Manage availability, patching, lifecycle, backups, vulnerability remediation, audits, risk assessments, and ISO 27001-related compliance activities.
• Provide L2/L3 escalation support, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, document architectures and procedures, and manage IT purchases and asset lifecycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a comparable corporate IT infrastructure or operations role.
• Strong hands-on administration of Azure and Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, SharePoint Admin Center, conditional access, and licensing.
• Expert hands-on AWS experience with EC2 and related services, including security, configuration, cost optimization, Linux-based workloads, and virtual machines.
• Experience reviewing licenses and reducing IT costs for Microsoft and/or AWS.
• Experience with backup and system monitoring solutions.
• Experience using enterprise ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk for incident and request management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, independent work capability, prioritization, and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work at L2 and escalate L3 issues correctly, with excellent operational and handover documentation skills.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above.

Nice to have

• Virtualization experience with Proxmox, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
• Networking experience with OpenVPN, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and TCP/IP.
• Veeam and disaster recovery experience.
• GCP user and access management experience.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience maintaining GitHub or GitLab instances, including user management and repository administration.
• Experience in an international organization with diverse cultures and multiple time zones.
• AWS, Microsoft, or Azure certifications.
• Awareness of ISO 27001 and related security standards; high-security or defense experience may become relevant.
• French, German, or Luxembourgish, which are official languages of Luxembourg.
