Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Malmö, Sweden; flexible hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a user-friendly, production-ready digital planning entry point for designing and optimizing physical retail environments.
• Build responsive and accessible frontend applications with TypeScript and React using component-driven interfaces and established design systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations with REST APIs and OpenAPI services, ensuring clean information flow between systems.
• Contribute to state management, frontend architecture, application performance, and UX-driven development.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and UX teams to translate user needs into effective digital experiences.
• Support DevOps practices, reliable development and deployment workflows, and AI-assisted, specification-driven development approaches.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with UX-driven development, component-based architecture, and design systems.
• Good understanding of web technologies and experience consuming and producing REST APIs and OpenAPI services.
• Understanding of system integrations, information flows, and frontend architecture.
• Experience with state management and web accessibility.
• DevOps experience and familiarity with modern development workflows.
• Ability to work within an evolving architecture, building on existing solutions rather than unnecessarily replacing them.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with product, business, and UX teams.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take ownership of frontend development and integrations.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D visualization technologies such as Three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, or Autodesk APS.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Experience with headless CMS solutions and dynamic page rendering.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI integrations.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and observability tools.
• Experience with retail planning, commercial planning, or similar digital planning environments.
