Lead Go Developer (Fintech)

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work options.

What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go, selecting concurrency models that balance performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Identify edge cases, risks, and technical constraints during planning.
• Represent engineering in meetings with external stakeholders, explain technical topics in business terms, and challenge unrealistic requirements.
• Lead and conduct code reviews for senior engineers, maintaining standards for quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to support faster and safer delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Go development experience and 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Higher education in Computer Science, software development, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing or configuring AI within a team.
• Experience in fintech or banking and with complex integrations.
• Strong Golang experience designing scalable, distributed backend systems.
• Knowledge of Go concurrency patterns, including goroutines, channels, and synchronization primitives.
• Experience with high-performance, maintainable system design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Advanced English or higher.
