Sourcing Manager (Quantum Technology)

Location: hirify.global Finland, Espoo; hybrid setup with flexible hours.

hirify.global builds full-stack quantum computers, combining quantum hardware and software to address computational challenges beyond the practical limits of classical machines.

What you will do

• Own material categories including cryomechanics, cryostats, mechanical components, and capital equipment, building supplier and parts portfolios.
• Work with R&D, engineering, production, and projects from early product development through sourcing, contracting, and production readiness.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering prices, contracts, delivery terms, and technical details, while developing long-term supplier relationships.
• Monitor and resolve supplier quality, delivery, and cost issues with suppliers and internal teams.
• Identify second sources, outsourcing options, manufacturing approaches, savings opportunities, and supply-risk reductions as volumes grow.
• Use data and KPIs to improve sourcing processes and tools and ensure suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and ESG requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally high-tech manufacturing.
• Commercial and technical understanding, including comfort with technical products, specifications, and part drawings.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strategic decision-making, ability to manage multiple priorities, learn quickly, and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, microelectronics, semiconductors, quantum technology, or a similar field.
• Familiarity with cryostats, cryomechanics, custom mechanical parts, and their manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing critical suppliers in complex international supply chains, including subcontracting or outsourcing.
• Experience purchasing capital equipment or developing ERP systems and procurement processes.
