Junior Salesforce Developer

Location: On-site in Auckland, New Zealand; office-first with flexibility when needed.

What you will do

• Triage Salesforce support requests, troubleshoot issues, escalate with clear context, and maintain support documentation.
• Fix bugs across Apex, flows, permissions, integrations, data, and configuration using safe, tested changes.
• Take small to medium changes from brief to release by scoping, building, testing, and deploying improvements.
• Use flows and configuration where appropriate, and Apex or LWC where code adds value.
• Translate stakeholder requests into requirements, help run workshops, and communicate progress, blockers, and trade-offs across Sales, RevOps, Finance, Launch, and Customer Success.
• Work toward Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, and roadmap-aligned certifications.

Requirements

• Foundational Salesforce development knowledge, including Apex, flows, and the Salesforce data model, with an appetite to deepen these skills.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, including branches, pull requests, and code review.
• Commitment to quality, including testing work, asking questions when unsure, and addressing root causes rather than applying patches.
• Clear written and spoken communication, including comfort discussing requirements with non-technical colleagues.
• Curiosity about how the business works and how Salesforce supports it.

Nice to have

• JavaScript or LWC experience.
• SOQL or SQL experience.
• Exposure to Revenue Cloud.
• OmniStudio or integration tooling experience.
• Existing Salesforce certification.
