Senior SharePoint Developer (Microsoft 365)

Location: Solna/Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work model. Must be based in Sweden and available for the assignment period.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and configure a modern SharePoint Online communication site for Development and IT.
• Define the information architecture, site structure, navigation, metadata, and content organisation.
• Optimise search and information discovery while establishing appropriate permissions and secure content management.
• Ensure the solution is user-friendly, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture and design decisions, collaborate with stakeholders, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support governance principles and the long-term management and future development of the communication site.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing SharePoint Online communication sites using standard platform capabilities and Microsoft best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint solution architecture and information architecture.
• Expertise in navigation, search, metadata, permissions, and content organisation.
• Experience creating user-friendly and maintainable solutions for content publishing, internal communication, and information discovery.
• Ability to translate business and user requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and advise stakeholders on technical design decisions and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Must be based in Sweden and available for the assignment period.

Nice to have

• Experience with SharePoint hub sites, Microsoft Search, and integrations across Microsoft 365.
• Experience working within established governance models for decentralised content management.
• Previous experience implementing intranets or enterprise-level communication sites.
• Knowledge of best practices for sustainable content management and ongoing SharePoint development.
