BI Developer (Power BI)

Location: Chile, Colombia, or Mexico

Salary: EUR 1,000–2,500 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

hirify.global provides software development and IT consulting services and is delivering a business intelligence project for an international healthcare products and services company operating across multiple markets.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, analytics solutions, and data models.
• Use SQL to extract, transform, and validate data in BigQuery.
• Support ETL/ELT pipelines and GitHub-based version control workflows.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and KPIs, communicating with stakeholders.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies, improve data quality, and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate data-access dependencies and account for internal approval processes that may delay access.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in BI development.
• Hands-on SQL experience and experience with BigQuery and Power BI.
• Experience with data modeling, reporting, ETL/ELT, and Git/GitHub workflows.
• Experience with data validation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytics solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Composer.
• Experience with dbt or similar SQL-based transformation tools.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with data governance, cloud analytics architecture, or Azure Analysis Services.
