Business Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Facilitate workshops and interviews, document business requirements, and translate them into AI specifications for data inputs and model outputs.
• Partner with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to assess AI use-case feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Define AI test strategies covering model validation, bias detection, performance benchmarking, accuracy, and fairness.
• Create training materials and user manuals explaining AI confidence scores, outputs, and system limitations.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and predictive analytics in banking workflows.
• Bridge business and IT stakeholders while maintaining traceability throughout the project lifecycle and supporting UAT and change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computing, Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of professional business analysis experience.
• Experience supporting AI/ML project lifecycles, specifically requirements documentation and UAT support.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and data governance in a financial services environment.
• Ability to convert vague business needs into precise technical metrics and AI-system performance benchmarks.
• Experience with model validation techniques and detecting anomalies or bias in AI behavior.
• Expertise in maintaining audit trails, versioning, and decision-logic documentation for AI models.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations, ethical AI principles, and internal governance frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex workflows and identify automation hotspots suitable for AI intervention.
• Strong stakeholder-management, presentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Ability to explain black-box AI concepts to non-technical users in a way that builds trust and supports responsible usage.
• Familiarity with improving business-analysis processes for rapid, iterative AI development cycles.
• Ability to uncover business needs that stakeholders may not yet recognize as solvable with AI.
• Proactive approach to monitoring AI-model behavior for ethical concerns and performance drift.
