Data Scientist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze user interactions and product performance to identify insights, trends, anomalies, root causes, and opportunities.
• Design, build, validate, deploy, and monitor experiments and data solutions for fraud, credit underwriting, user experience optimization, and other business problems.
• Apply, develop, and refine AI and machine learning algorithms to deliver business value, increase revenue, and reduce costs.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders, collaborate with product owners, engineers, data engineers, and machine learning teams, and influence product roadmaps.
• Develop dashboards, recommend success metrics, and improve data collection processes.
• Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong mathematical, statistical, or actuarial background.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Problem-solving ability using both established methods and novel approaches.
• Demonstrable experience with data visualization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
• Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, software architecture, and machine learning algorithms.
