Senior Information Security Analyst (AI)

Location: Heredia, Costa Rica; hybrid

What you will do

• Manage security posture and vulnerability reporting using Panaseer and Checkmarx.
• Review data access, data extracts, elevated access requests, and quarterly access reviews.
• Conduct PII and sensitive-data scans and support remediation with Data Engineering.
• Monitor brand misuse, coordinate remediation and takedowns, and support data classification, handling, and privacy programs.
• Use Tines, Python, and approved AI tools to automate security processes and identify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Governance, Privacy, and Information Security teams while supporting SOC 2 audits and evidence requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in information security, data governance, or IT compliance, including hands-on experience with access management, data-loss prevention, and Amazon Web Services-hosted environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security and lightweight automation tools such as Tines or Python.
• Comfort using AI assistants such as Claude or Copilot for drafting, summarizing, and assessment in daily security work.

Nice to have

• Security+, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or progress toward Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification.
• Genuine interest in building AI-assisted security workflows; formal prior AI experience is not required.
