What you will do

• Underwrite corporate-segment products including property, health, liability, workers’ compensation, motor, personal accident and travel, and employee compensation.
• Own P&L responsibility and evaluate risks for new business and renewals to support profitable growth.
• Manage underwriting relationships with intermediaries, brokers, MTPs, business partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support underwriting service delivery, product development, innovation, and GWP growth.
• Maintain ongoing technical development and achieve the required DAL state.

Requirements

• Experience with insurance underwriting, risk assessment, policy analysis, portfolio management, and risk management.
• Ability to monitor market dynamics and demonstrate market-cycle awareness.
• Ability to perform underwriting activities in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of underwriting standards, instructions, good practices, current legislation, best practices, underwriting acceptance levels, systems, and organizational guidelines.
• Strong customer service, stakeholder management, critical thinking, prioritization, research analysis, and collaboration skills.
