Demand Planning Intern

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work arrangement.

Estimated pay: $25/hour.

hirify.global is an American luxury jewelry company creating contemporary collections for women and men and selling through retail stores and authorized fine jewelry and timepiece retailers.

What you will do

• Analyze historical sales trends, demand patterns, and forecast accuracy across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
• Monitor wholesale holiday bulk orders through sales order reviews, year-over-year performance analysis, and reporting.
• Support demand planning for new product launches using historical sales, comparable style performance, and anticipated demand.
• Review planned orders, identify pre-edit items, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate demand and highlight purchasing risks.
• Gain hands-on experience with demand planning systems and forecasting tools.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and an interest in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn, with an interest in luxury retail, merchandise planning, and supply chain operations.
• Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field with a minimum 3.0 overall GPA.

• Planning, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management major.
