Procurement Officer (IT & Software Category)

Location: Hybrid format with 3 days per week in the Tbilisi office and the rest remotely; relocation package with travel and accommodation support for the candidate and family.

What you will do

• Manage procurement of IT equipment, SaaS, software, cloud services, infrastructure, security tools, and technical services from purchase request through contract renewal.
• Source and compare suppliers and resellers, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and identify cost-effective alternatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance, and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Handle software contracts and renewals, collaborating with Legal when needed.
• Review licensing models, auto-renewal clauses, payment terms, and termination conditions.
• Track software subscriptions, review licence usage, reduce costs, maintain supplier records, and keep the renewal calendar up to date.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, ideally involving IT, software, or SaaS.
• Practical experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations.
• Good understanding of software licensing models, including per-user subscriptions, usage-based pricing, cloud credits, and add-ons.
• Ability to compare quotations, challenge pricing, and find cost-effective alternatives.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• Candidates from related roles such as IT administration or IT asset management are considered if they have hands-on experience purchasing software and managing vendors.
