Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with the team in the office three times per week. Relocation support to Paris is available for strong candidates.

Salary: €99,000–€133,000 per year, plus equity and variable pay.

What you will do

• Define scalable frontend state-management architecture and establish coding standards and development patterns.
• Set clear boundaries between UI components, business logic, state, and data fetching, and lead frontend technical decisions.
• Improve maintainability, testability, and performance while building reusable components across the product.
• Drive adoption of the design system and turn Figma designs into production-ready experiences with designers.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs when needed.
• Review code and mentor engineers on frontend architecture and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience defining or significantly improving the architecture of an existing frontend codebase.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, ideally React.
• Practical experience solving state-management problems at scale across local, shared, server, and URL state.
• Experience building, integrating, or maintaining a design system.
• Comfort working across the stack, including APIs, data models, and backend architecture.
• A track record of introducing standards or patterns adopted by other engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development or design-to-code tools.
• Experience modernizing a legacy or fast-growing frontend codebase.
• Experience integrating Figma or a similar design tool into the development workflow.
• Experience in a fast-moving product or startup environment.
