Business Analyst (Core Banking)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

What you will do

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for core banking initiatives, including BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and validate Profile parameters across deposit and lending products, including account, transaction, and product setup structures.
• Analyze and document deposit processes covering interest calculation, accruals, maturity, payment sweep, and statement cycles.
• Define functional requirements for loans, including origination, servicing, participant accounting, TDR, SOLD loan functionality, and repayment schedules.
• Facilitate workshops, lead UAT, triage defects, and coordinate business, development, and QA stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Translate Thai business requirements, policies, operational processes, and regulatory obligations into clear requirements for the project delivery team.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Thai and excellent verbal and written communication in Thai and English.
• Ability to translate and interpret complex banking requirements, regulatory guidelines, and stakeholder discussions between Thai and English.
• Strong working knowledge of Thai banking regulations and requirements issued by the Bank of Thailand (BOT), including regulatory impact analysis and translation of compliance obligations into business and system requirements.
• Experience working directly with Thai banks and regulatory stakeholders.
• Ability to bridge local business expectations and global delivery teams.
• Experience with core banking deposits, lending, Profile configuration, functional requirements, workshops, UAT, and defect triage.
