Sr. Principal Engineer – EAI China Tech Lead (EAI)

What you will do

• Lead evaluation, design, analysis, and implementation of enterprise application integration solutions across APAC business applications and domains.
• Create detailed, reusable, and scalable integration architectures, patterns, configurations, and delivery mechanisms.
• Govern integration delivery to ensure alignment with architectural frameworks, assurance, compliance, and enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with business teams, product owners, project management, architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and external partners.
• Assess integration portfolios for technical debt, aging technologies, deficiencies, and misalignment with business requirements.
• Lead mentoring, root-cause analysis, roadmap execution, technical documentation, and decision-maker presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of overall professional IT experience and 10+ years of experience designing, coding, and implementing data and application integration solutions.
• Proven experience in EAI-relevant solution architecture, including service-oriented architectures, ESB, web services, and integration principles.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouse principles, data mapping, data integration, A2A and B2B integration patterns, and cross-domain integration projects.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and applications across varied platforms, protocols, and services or interfaces, including the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience migrating data and application integrations, understanding relevant security and networking protocols, and applying foundational architecture design principles.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical support, consulting, or solutions architecture role.
• Familiarity with information models, industry data standards, automation, agile architecture, strong communication, negotiation, long-term strategic thinking, teamwork, and collaboration in larger teams.

• Experience with AWS cloud-native solutions and AI.
• Experience with ERP integrations.
• Understanding of the regulated healthcare industry and FDA design-control requirements.
