Senior Systems Engineer Infrastructure (Cloud)

What you will do

• Diagnose complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems, identify root causes, and recommend customer-focused solutions.
• Test, refine, and automate processes to improve reliability, efficiency, repeatability, and operational resilience.
• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions and integrate systems across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Automate workflows, document architectures and procedures, and support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate Architects, Project Managers, and Technicians while driving project delivery from initiation through completion.
• Communicate technical solutions to customers and stakeholders and expand expertise through certifications and project work.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in a specific technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
• Enterprise IT application experience.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in the public cloud AWS domain.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows.
• Fluent English and German.

• Familiarity with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used to produce technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Logic and reasoning skills for assessing alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS, GPO, PKI, RDS, VMware Cloud Foundation, Veeam, MSSQL, IIS, CheckMK, Graylog, PowerShell, and Python.
