Art Director (Retail)

What you will do

• Establish, evolve, and enforce brand standards.
• Lead creative designers and video editors in producing work that meets or exceeds business goals.
• Lead seasonal concepting and production direction for marketing and promotional assets.
• Mentor, coach, hire, and retain design talent while maximizing team output and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners and support project management for production timelines.
• Direct photo and video shoots, present ideas to groups and executives, and contribute hands-on design work as needed.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in retail brand creative design and graphic design.
• 3 years of experience managing designers.
• Experience with creative concepting and directing the design work of others.
• Graphic design skills and knowledge of design principles.
• Photo art direction experience.
• Knowledge of video editing.
• Knowledge of design production workflows.
• The role requires sitting, standing, general office functions, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a similar field.
