Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer (Fintech)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Hybrid role with three days per week in-office on Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional chosen day; extra remote time may be requested.

What you will do

• Identify, analyze, and monitor European regulatory obligations and market practices relevant to hirify.global, especially in Luxembourg and Italy.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to support new product launches and maintain compliance of existing features.
• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses across operations, products, and new initiatives against evolving regulatory standards.
• Support internal policies, regulatory developments, manuals, and procedures.
• Execute the Compliance Monitoring Programme and thematic reviews, identify weaknesses, and issue recommendations.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Compliance or Audit, ideally in a fintech environment.
• Solid practical understanding of PSD2, DORA, AML, SEPA, CCD2, and broader EU financial regulatory frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to define compliant requirements for new and existing products throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders as a trusted advisor and translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions.
• Hands-on experience conducting compliance quality assurance and monitoring activities.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive and analytical approach, balancing rapid innovation with prudent risk management.
