Working Student Product Documentation & BI Dashboard (All Genders)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany; work from home, workation, or the Berlin office.

hirify.global offers a working-student role combining product documentation and internal BI dashboard development.

What you will do

• Maintain and enhance help-center articles, user guides, and internal knowledge-base content.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Video Production to keep documentation accurate, clear, and easy to find.
• Support the migration of BI dashboards from Tableau to a self-hosted, AI-assisted dashboard solution.
• Design, build, test, and validate dashboard views and reports against existing Tableau reports.
• Research and evaluate self-hosted BI tools and AI-assisted development approaches.
• Document the dashboard setup and processes while supporting day-to-day and ad hoc team tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• Interest in technical writing/documentation and/or data and BI topics.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Comfortable learning and working with new tools, including AI-assisted tools.
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with Tableau or another BI/reporting tool.
• Familiarity with self-hosted BI tools such as Apache Airflow, Metabase, Apache Superset, or Grafana.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, or Git.
• Basic scripting knowledge, such as Python.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools.
