Financial Systems Engineer

Location: Stockholm HQ, Sweden. On-site.

What you will do

• Build and own the integration platform connecting CRM, CPQ, ERP, and future financial systems.
• Design and ship event-driven services, including APIs, reconciliation pipelines, and queues.
• Implement idempotent, resumable synchronization with third-party SaaS APIs, handling partial failures, retries, out-of-order events, and concurrency.
• Work with Python, Azure, and infrastructure as code in TypeScript using Pulumi.
• Own GitHub Actions CI/CD across development, test, and production environments, including gated releases and observability.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and RevOps to convert billing and revenue requirements into reliable systems and contribute to integration architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong Python skills and sufficient TypeScript experience to own infrastructure code, or willingness to learn TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs from SaaS applications and moving and transforming data between systems.
• Practical understanding of idempotency, retries, eventual consistency, and reconciliation.
• Experience with a cloud platform and infrastructure as code; Azure is preferred, while AWS or GCP is also accepted.
• Proactive, self-directed, ownership-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

• Experience with financial systems such as billing, revenue, or ERP.
