Senior and Staff Full Stack Software Engineers (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, United States.

Base salary: $347K–$385K annually, plus equity and performance-related bonuses for eligible employees.

What you will do

• Build and launch features across web interfaces, APIs, backend services, and data models.
• Create workflows for task creation, progress updates, agent feedback, and results that remain coherent across sessions and devices.
• Translate emerging model capabilities into product prototypes with research, product, and design partners.
• Design interfaces between product surfaces and agent execution systems.
• Improve performance and reliability across the stack, including user-facing latency and recovery from partial failures.
• Own projects from exploration through architecture, implementation, launch, iteration, technical direction, testing, and observability.

Requirements

• Significant experience building and shipping products across frontend and backend systems.
• Ability to work across user interfaces, service design, APIs, and data modeling.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to make complex capabilities understandable to users.
• Experience taking ambiguous ideas from concept to production and balancing iteration speed with long-term maintainability.
• Understanding of asynchronous workflows, including state, consistency, and failure across system boundaries.
• Effective collaboration with design, product, research, and engineering partners.
• Experience owning complex engineering projects and helping other engineers make sound technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience launching new consumer products, building agent or workflow applications, or working in small teams with broad engineering ownership.
• Prior experience with AI or machine learning.
