International Accountant

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with presence in the Dublin office once or twice per week depending on proximity. Candidates outside commuting distance may be considered case by case, with occasional travel to the office expected.

Salary: €53,000–€71,000 gross annual salary. Equity package, annual performance bonus, and benefits are also offered.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day, monthly, and quarterly international accounting activities.
• Own US GAAP reporting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal reporting for international entities.
• Manage local statutory compliance, audits, and preparation of financial statements in line with local legislation.
• Perform monthly analytics for each subsidiary.
• Drive standardization, automation, process reengineering, and adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Partner with international business teams, SEC reporting, treasury, and payroll teams on reporting, banking, liquidity, and payroll accuracy.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, or similar.
• Approximately one year of post-qualification experience in a similar organization or environment.
• Strong financial accounting background and practical understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong organization, adaptability, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership through completion, meet commitments, and seek support proactively when needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships in a distributed environment.
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset and interest in new technologies and AI-enabled solutions.
