Financial Accounting Associate (Hybrid)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.

Base salary: EUR 1,400–2,400 per month for a full-time role.

What you will do

• Support accurate and timely accounting for hirify.global entities within a global GLAS Operations environment.
• Process and review postings and support day-to-day accounting activities and monthly close tasks.
• Prepare reconciliations and perform basic analyses across payroll, leases, fixed assets and intangible assets.
• Support audit and control activities in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Work with SAP and related tools while building knowledge of taxes and intercompany recharges.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and contribute to process improvements and well-controlled accounting processes.

Requirements

• Foundational background in accounting or finance.
• Comfort working with defined processes and accounting systems such as SAP.
• Ability to deliver tasks accurately and on time in a monthly close environment.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and basic analyses, understand control and quality requirements, and escalate issues when needed.
• Good attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across different locations.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, adapt to change and build technical expertise across payroll, leases, fixed assets and intangible accounting.
