Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Itransition is hiring for Salesforce development and DevOps projects serving clients including PayPal, Wargaming, Xerox, Philips, adidas, and Toyota.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end Salesforce release process and coordinate releases across teams.
• Manage deployment pipelines, sandbox strategy, source-driven deployments, environment management, release cadence, change management, and rollback procedures.
• Set up and operate Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using release and deployment tooling such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Establish and enforce development and release practices including code review, static code analysis, and automated testing as release gates.
• Safeguard production stability while remaining hands-on with Salesforce development.
• Lead conversations about the technical and process aspects of projects in English.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience, including hands-on Salesforce development.
• Deep Salesforce platform experience with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning.
• Proven experience owning and continuously improving release and deployment processes, including sandbox strategy, source-driven deployments, environment management, release cadence, change management, and rollback procedures.
• Working knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
• Experience setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce with release and deployment tooling such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or similar.
• Ability to establish and enforce development and release best practices, including code review, static code analysis, and automated testing as release gates.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features and constraints.
• English proficiency sufficient for leading technical and process-related project conversations.
