TL;DR
Junior Technical Accountant (Insurance/Reinsurance): Administering client accounts and analyzing accounting data for insurance and reinsurance portfolios with an accent on data verification, discrepancy clarification, and cash flow management. Focus on interpreting reinsurance treaty data, booking transactions, and communicating with internal departments and clients.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: EUR 1,300–2,200 per month for a full-time role, plus a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Administer a portfolio of client accounts, primarily for insurance companies and brokers.
  • Verify client data against reinsurance treaties.
  • Clarify discrepancies and communicate with internal departments and clients.
  • Analyze accounting data, complete bookings, and manage cash flow.
  • Investigate and interpret accounting data proactively.

Requirements

  • Strong B1 or B2 German, written and spoken.
  • Proficient English, written and spoken.
  • Flair for numbers and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Engaged and proactive work ethic.
  • Communicative, diligent, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a team.
