Business Operations Intern or Working Student (AI Biotech)

Location: Lausanne, Switzerland; on-site. Commitment: minimum 3 months and minimum 16 hours per week for a Working Student, or full time for an Internship. Start date: ASAP.

hirify.global is building an automated laboratory that enables AI agents to run biology experiments through integrated software, hardware, workflows, data pipelines, and AI systems.

What you will do

• Use AI tools to improve workflows that are manual, messy, or slow.
• Help onboard new customers to the platform.
• Support finance administration and coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
• Assist with logistics for the expansion of the new Lausanne lab.
• Support events, customer visits, and internal company coordination.
• Build lightweight tools and automations using Claude Code, Python, Notion, no-code tools, or other suitable tools.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program.
• A biology background is not required, but candidates from other fields need a genuine interest in the life sciences.
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and able to identify problems and take action without being asked.
• Strong with AI tools, especially Claude Code or Codex, and able to use them to build real workflows.
• Hands-on, organized, reliable, and able to follow through without letting details fall through the cracks.
• Comfortable switching between projects, responsibilities, and urgent operational needs in a dynamic environment.
