IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant

Salary: $82,000–$132,900 per year

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management teams to identify, assess, and manage financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess and optimize IT risk across cybersecurity, IT strategy and governance, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Develop audit programs and execute internal audits and IT control assessments covering IT governance, IT operations, cybersecurity, third-party risk, ITGC, application controls, SOC reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Prepare executive summaries, final reports, and engagement work papers in accordance with internal audit methodologies.
• Build client relationships, present findings to internal and external audiences, and support the development of team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• At least three years of experience.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related program.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA certification.
• Three or more years of experience in IT audit or cybersecurity.
• Experience as a client-serving professional for a consulting firm.
• Cloud audit experience and certifications.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
