Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA

Salary: $180k–$270k base plus equity

What you will do

• Build customer-facing product features and the AI agents powering them.
• Own systems across architecture, development, deployment, and production operations.
• Work on AI agents, large-scale data, and reliable production systems.
• Take features from architecture through deployment and resolve real production issues.
• Contribute hands-on in a small, high-output engineering environment.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with TypeScript, NestJS, and React.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS.
• Experience building and shipping AI agents into production.
• Strong understanding of system design and production engineering.
• Experience owning features from architecture through deployment.
• Comfort debugging and resolving real production issues.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Experience building LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with feedback loops or self-improving AI systems.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Terraform or infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Strong observability experience.
• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar tools.
• Products, side projects, or open-source work built outside of employment.
• Experience taking an idea from 0 to 1 and independently identifying and solving problems.
