IT Solutions Architect (Microsoft Azure)

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, design, implement, maintain, and support internal and customer IT infrastructures.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and technical teams on pre-sales activities, including solution architecture, infrastructure sizing, effort and cost estimation, RFPs, RFIs, and commercial proposals.
• Design and implement infrastructure security and management solutions using cloud security technologies such as CASB, PAM, compliance checks, and continuous vulnerability assessment.
• Design, implement, and maintain backup, replication, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Design, install, configure, and monitor virtualization, storage, Microsoft server, networking, backup, and multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Provide third-level technical support, resolve issues with vendors and internal teams, and ensure system performance, availability, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 10 years of hands-on IT engineering experience.
• Client-oriented approach and client-facing experience.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions, including Azure Hub-and-Spoke Network Architectures, Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, Azure Networking, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Defender security solutions.
• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V clusters, storage management, and virtual networking design and implementation.
• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft server products and applications, Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and Federation Services.
• Knowledge of infrastructure configuration and monitoring software, backup and replication solutions such as Veeam, storage integration, BitLocker, and endpoint security.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
• Certification or current certification track in Microsoft on-premises and Azure identity, security, virtual desktop, or access management; VMware vSphere 7 or later; endpoint management; or database administration.
