Sr. Clinical Research Scientist, Global Rare Diseases - Temporary (Biopharmaceuticals)

Location: Anywhere in Europe, with hybrid or fully remote working arrangements.

Salary: €59,000–€73,000 annual budgeted range for a role located in Italy; compensation in other countries follows the relevant local market and internal frameworks. Annual bonus eligibility and benefits apply.

What you will do

• Support scientific activities across global clinical development programs and contribute to clinical trial risk/benefit assessments.
• Support the design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation of assigned clinical studies and prepare clinical documentation, including protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, and regulatory dossier sections.
• Support Clinical Program Leaders and Clinical Research Physicians as a scientific subject matter expert for assigned products and disease areas.
• Contribute to translational research, disease-specific biomarker identification, analytical method development and validation, and assessment of emerging technology trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external scientific experts, partners, and institutions; contribute to publications, decision-making, and business strategy.
• Support innovative trial designs, surrogate endpoint selection, post-registration activities, and product life-cycle management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a scientific researcher in an academic or non-academic organization.
• Previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Background in biotechnology, biology, molecular biology, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Fluent English.
• Customer orientation, planning and organizational skills, proactiveness, quality orientation, and ability to work in a team.

Nice to have

• PhD.
• Experience in rare diseases and biologic drugs.
