Senior Network Engineer (Network Security)

Location: Minsk, Belarus; onsite, remote, or hybrid work. Remote work is possible from any location.

What you will do

• Design network architectures and manage network configuration and security.
• Support and manage distributed network infrastructure for the company and its customers.
• Resolve network-related incidents and problems.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN controllers, and related network devices.
• Participate in network-related activities on customer projects.
• Manage Windows domain services, documentation, and potential VoIP solution configuration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Security Engineer.
• CCNP-level knowledge of routing and switching.
• Strong understanding of HLD/LLD network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, L4-L7 load balancers, and enterprise solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet technologies, including STP, VLAN, Link Aggregation, HSRP/VRRP, and NAT.
• Knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP, MP-BGP, and DMVPN.
• Knowledge of ACL, IPsec, SSL VPN, and 802.1X.
• Experience with Cisco and Fortinet.
• Understanding of Windows domain services.
• Intermediate English, B1+.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, clear technical writing and documentation skills, and excellent communication and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ansible, Python, PowerShell, bash, or HCL.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP networking, including VPC, VPN, load balancing, CDN, and TGW.
• Experience with provider-grade technologies such as MPLS, MPLS L2/L3 VPN, and SR.
• Data center experience with VXLAN, VXLAN EVPN, M-LAG, MPBGP, or OTV.
• Experience or knowledge of SD-WAN, SD-LAN, or Cisco ACI.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, VoIP services, VMware ESX/ESXi, VMware vSphere, vCloud, Hyper-V, Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, or HPE/Aruba.
